Export to CSV / XLSX

Geotrend allows you to export the information contained in your searches.

In order to process the information outside of Geotrend, you can export the data from your searches in several formats, such as a CSV or Excel (XLSX) file.

You can access this feature directly from the features panel on the right of your screen.

You can export data in CSV or XLSX from the "Relationships" view or the "Keywords" view

When you export your data from the "Relationships" view, you will have access to different information, such as:

  • The names of the actors
  • The nature of the relationship between them
  • The relevant paragraph presented to you in the platform
  • Their URL
  • The dates mentioned
  • The category of the article
  • The sentiment analysis
  • The main keywords, when present

From the "Keywords" view, you will have access to the keywords present and the number of references for each word in question.

Each export will list at most the first 10,000 paragraphs present on the filtered view at the time of export.

When you export data in CSV format, on opening your spreadsheet, the data is not displayed sorted by columns. It is up to you to select the first column, go to "data" then "convert" and to delimit the columns separated by a comma.

If you export your data in XLSX format, when you open your spreadsheet, the data will already be classified by separate columns.
