A view by domain names is available on Geotrend, allowing you to consult each source retained for your search.

Overview of the Domains View


Here you'll find all the domains whose articles processed by AI have been deemed relevant to your query.

In this view, you will find the following information for each source:

  • Hide" option
  • Direct access to the site
  • Domain logo
  • Domain url
  • Number of documents in relation to the total number of documents from the source
  • Number of relations detected in articles from the source 
  • The publication frequency* of the source concerning your research topic.
        *The time range displayed is based on the publication, referencing or update dates of the               documents listed. 
  • The percentage of documents from the source in question in relation to the total number of publications.
  • Percentage of references

This view reacts to filters. If you decide to filter an actor or a type of relationship, the view will adjust itself to offer you the domain names correlated with the filters applied.

Export source list


You can export the "Domains" view in XLSX or CSV format.

Hide domain content from mapping


You can hide information from certain domains by deselecting, in the left-hand column, the domain names you do not wish to include in your analysis.

Blacklist one or several domains

In general, it is possible to blacklist sources on a one-off basis, for a study for example, or on a recurring basis, i.e. for each new search that is launched.

From within a search, you can simply blacklist sources already present in the search. To do this :

 

Click on the Blacklists icon

 

Click on "Add new blacklist".

 

Name your list 

Example: general media

 

Once the list has been created, it is displayed in the creation window.
To blacklist sources, click on then check the sources to exclude. When finished, click on "Submit

 

To make the sources reappear, simply deactivate the blacklist using the toggle.

Search a domain name 


You can search for a specific domain name using the Search a domain bar. 
NB: The Domains view only includes domains reported by Geotrend. If you wish to search for a specific domain, for example lesechos.fr, please refer to the article "Initiate a research with Open Web or domain".
