Function of the "OR" operator

The boolean operator "OR" enables the search of to terms or expressions distinctly one from another.

The "OR" operator is the second most commonly used operator in a document research after the
AND. It will collect data and information for both terms regardless of them being present
together in a text. Nevertheless if this case occurs, the documents will be selected and
presented in the final results. Therefore the data collected will be broader that when the "AND"
operator is used.
